Mission Statement

The Human Resources Department’s mission is to develop and manage value-added human resources policies and programs, and provide expert consultation, services and solutions in an efficient and customer-focused manner; and to provide our employees with the tools necessary to meet our customer’s needs.  We are committed to the fair selection and development of our inclusive and diverse workforce.

Services

The department provides services, advice and consultation in the areas of: compensation, classification, benefits, talent acquisition, safety & risk management, training & organizational development, employee & labor relations, and policy development & compliance.  The department also works collaboratively with the personnel committee in administering and updating the Town’s personnel rules.
