KIDS' NIGHT OUT

Friday, October 13 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM


Kid’s! Aren’t you ready for a night out? We have a special night of fun planned with you in mind! Put on your favorite Halloween PJ’s, prepare yourself to enjoy some pizza and snacks, playtime and crafts, and an after-dinner film complete with cocoa for dessert.

Parents, sorry, you’re not invited to this one. We hope you’ll be able to keep yourselves busy! Don’t worry, we’ll be having fun.

The Mansfield Senior Center is hosting its Halloween Party with a spooky lunch and goblin-friends on Monday, October 31.

All friends 55+ are welcome to join in on a lunch featuring Halloween Ghoulash, Graveyard Salad, and Spooky Dessert, all homemade in the Senior Center kitchen. (Please reserve your lunch by October 27 by calling 860.487.9876. Cost just $5.)

Stick around for the classic Halloween movie, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, an homage to old horror films and Abbott and Costello’s brand of humor.

Don’t miss out on the Halloween fun! Throw on your favorite costume or spooky garb and join in!

Come one, come all to the greatest Halloween party on Earth! Families are invited to the library for some not-so-scary carnival-inspired fun & games, candy and more!

Trick-or-Treat AND Trick-A-Trunk

Saturday, October 28 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM


Calling all goblins, ghouls, & ghosts! Head to Downtown Storrs for free, Halloween fun on Saturday, October 28, 2023. 

Children are invited to dress in their Halloween best and Trick-or-Treat at participating Downtown Storrs businesses. 

And this year, enjoy two times the treats in one stop: Mansfield Parks & Recreation Department’s annual Trick-A-Trunk has a NEW location! Visit Wilbur Cross Way for a spooky display of decorated vehicles sponsored by local businesses and families. Check out the decorations and collect more treats as you go!

Both Trick-or-Treat and Trick-A-Trunk will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, rain or shine.

These Halloween festivities are free to attend and open to all ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
